Sharing the Story of Jesus in Malawi

When evening comes, families and neighbors gather to watch the JESUS film. As the story unfolds on screen, people watch the life of Jesus together in their own community.

Circle J Ministries International supports Christian outreach in Malawi alongside local churches and ministry partners. We currently have 14 sets of JESUS film equipment in Malawi, helping local teams bring the film to communities across the country.

Many ministry leaders regard the JESUS film as one of the most effective tools for reaching adults with the Gospel in Malawi—and possibly across Africa. Its visual storytelling helps make the life of Jesus accessible to people who may not otherwise encounter the Gospel in this way.

Each set of equipment costs about $2,500. We would like to take additional sets to Malawi and leave them with local pastors, so they can continue hosting film showings in their communities. A showing takes more than equipment: it also depends on local coordination, preparation, and people willing to welcome their neighbors. Afterward, pastors and ministry leaders can talk with those who have questions, offer prayer, and help people connect with a local church.

We are grateful for the Malawian partners and supporters who make these gatherings possible. Please pray for the local churches and teams, for the people who attend, and for the resources to provide more equipment for pastors. Thank you for standing with Circle J Ministries International in this work.
