Randall Jinkins
Randall is the Co‑Founder and CEO of Circle J Ministries International, Inc., and serves as Pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church in Frankston, Texas. Raised in East Texas within the Baptist tradition, his earliest church memories include the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) members teaching about missions and announcing missionaries’ birthdays each Sunday. As a child he attended Son Beams (the predecessor to Mission Friends) and later participated in Royal Ambassadors (now known as AIM).
Randall’s first international mission trips were in 1986—to Mexico and then to Kenya—where he witnessed a powerful movement of God that resulted in more than 4,500 people responding to the Gospel. Since then, he has had the opportunity to preach the Gospel on five of the seven continents.
Since 2010, God has opened doors for Randall to serve in Malawi, known as “The Warm Heart of Africa.” In partnership with Hilltop Baptist Church (Frankston, Texas) and the Baptist Convention of Malawi, his ministry has helped plant more than 60 churches across Malawi and Zambia. The church plants are in and around Lilongwe, Mitundu, Blantyre, Jenda, Mzuzu in Malawi and in and around Lusaka in Zambia.
Through Circle J Ministries International, Randall remains committed to reaching the people of Malawi and Zambia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Founder
Tracy Jinkins
Tracy is the Co‑Founder and Treasurer of Circle J Ministries International, Inc. Her passion for missions began in the Women’s Missionary Union at her church, where she taught Mission Friends and Acteens and longed to serve on the mission field.
During the early years of her marriage to Randall, Tracy stayed home to raise their two sons, Justin and James, while Randall traveled on mission trips. She remained active in WMU, Baptist Young Women, and the Dogwood Baptist Association, growing in her knowledge of and commitment to missions.
As her sons graduated and began their own lives, Tracy began to travel on mission trips herself. Her first trips were to Mexico and Taiwan; since 2013 she has served regularly in Malawi. There she has worked alongside pastors and their wives, cared for widows, and served orphans. Tracy has been deeply involved with Hope for Widows of Malawi, a community enrichment organization that equips widows to provide for themselves and their children. She has also led discipleship seminars, women’s conferences, and pastors’ wives conferences in and around Lilongwe and Blantyre.
Through Circle J Ministries International, Tracy seeks to continue sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting sustainable ministries that strengthen families and communities in Malawi.
Founder
Abusa Burton Nyirenda and Amai Busa Maria Nyirenda
Abusa Burton Nyirenda and Amai Busa Maria Nyirenda have been a part of CJMI since 2018. They are an integral part of the ministry in the Northern Region. They oversee the House of Hope, as well as many other CJMI projects in the region.
Burton was born in Nkhata Bay district. And Maria was born in Mzimba district, Northern Malawi. He was called to the ministry, when he was 13 years old. After his secondary school education in 1983, he began teaching as a Temporary teacher (untrained) in 1984. In 1985, he joined the Teacher's Training College, graduating in 1987. From 1987 to 2000, he taught school in Mzuzu.
God reminded him about his calling in 1999. he tried to apply for unpaid leave from the government, but it failed. He applied for early retirement, it failed. In 2001, he left teaching and went to the Theological Seminary in Lilongwe. His studies lasted four years. Upon graduation from the seminary, he moved back to Mzuzu to serve as the Pastor of Luwinga Baptist church, where he serves to this day.
Burton and Maria were married in 1984, just before he became a Temporary teacher. She had been doing minor businesses.
They attended the Theological Seminary together for those four years and graduated together. Since then, she is serving as a Pastor's wife.
They have worked with CJMI, from 2018 up to now. That was when CJMI first came to the Northern Region of Malawi.
In the national Convention of the Baptist Convention of Malawi, Burton serves as the President of Pastors.
House of Hope
Mayeso Tembo, PhD.
Mayeso Tembo, PhD, has served as In-Country Director for Circle J Ministries International, Inc. since 2018. He oversees faith–NGO compliance, quality assurance, governance, and general NGO administration, and he leads the implementation and reporting of programs at the country level.
Called to both evangelize and serve, Mayeso balances spiritual ministry with practical care. He believes, as demonstrated in Jesus’ ministry, that effective service combines attention to both spiritual and physical needs.
