A LONG WAY

GIVE a HELPING hAND TO THOSE WHO NEED IT!

In 2018, Circle J Ministries began teaching Discipleship Seminars in the local churches in the Lilongwe and Blantyre areas.
In 2019, Circle J Ministries, in cooperation with First Baptist Church, Rusk, Texas, and the Baptist churches of Malawi, wrote and published a follow-up tract for distribution after showings of the Jesus Film. We believe that this will greatly increase the effectiveness of follow-up with those who respond to the Gospel.

    WE NEED VOLUNTEERS IN AFRICA

The harvest is great, but the laborers are few.  Circle J Ministries International (CJMI) plans a couple of mission trips every year to Malawi.  There is a team leaving May 30, 2026.  There will be 11 people from the US going on this trip. The trip will be for two weeks. The first week will be to the Lilongwe area, where we will work with pastors we have worked with before. The second week will be to the Mzimba area, in the North.  This is a new area for CJMI.  Mzimba is the second largest city in the North.  We will be working with a mix of pastors we have worked with in the past and pastors we have just met.

The trip will include preaching at a prison and at halftime at a soccer match that CJMI will sponsor among local teams.

The focus of the CJMI mission trips is, always, evangelism and discipleship.  The people who go will be involved in the School Ministry, where every man that goes will share the Gospel in two to three schools every day, and in the Jesus Film Ministry, where every man will share the gospel at a showing of the Jesus Film in the rural areas of the bush.  There will be Discipleship Seminars, Ladies Conferences, Pastors and Wives Conferences, and many other ministries.  None of this will work without "boots on the ground."  Please pray about what God would have you do to participate in these efforts.  The options are simple: Go, Pray, or Give.

The second CJMI trip of 2026 is scheduled to leave the US on Saturday, October 10, and return on Saturday, October 24.  Dr. Richard Harvey, Pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS is in the process of planning a Pastor’s Conference for this trip.  He will be assigning different topics to cover in the sessions.  We have not had a Pastor’s Conference like this in over 10 years and we have never had one in the North.  Anyone interested in participating in this trip can contact Randall Jinkins at 903-530-4335.
